The Ottawa Muslim Association (OMA) is a grass-root charitable Muslim organization, established in 1972, governed by the guidance provided in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah (teachings) of Prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him) to serve Muslims in the greater Ottawa Community.
The OMA is run solely on the hard-work, dedication and efforts of volunteers who ensure that the Ottawa Main Mosque runs efficiently.
The OMA serves the wider population of Ottawa by contributing to main stream organizations like universities, hospitals, public schools and shelters.
